Stibb Cross

Stibb Cross is a small village in north Devon, England. It is included in the parish of Langtree, and is located about 1 mile from that village. Its population in 2001 was 677. Template:Devon-geo-stub The word stibb is derived from the anglo saxon styb which referred to a weapon made of wood. The word stibbard - meaning a violent person - is derived from it.
