Suburban Commando

From Free net encyclopedia

Suburban Commando is a 1991 science fiction film starring Hulk Hogan (Terry Bollea) and directed by Burt Kennedy.

Hulk Hogan plays Shep Ramsey, an interstellar hero whose spacecraft is damaged after a battle and is forced to stay on Earth until it repairs itself. Ramsey leaves his "power suit" at home, but he acts as a vigilante, fighting criminals. Then the earth family he is living with find the power suit.

The film was originally titled "Urban Commando", and intended for Danny DeVito and Arnold Schwarzenegger. When these two opted to make Twins (1988), the script was bought by New Line Cinema as the follow-up to their highly successful Hulk Hogan film, No Holds Barred (1989).

Cast:

Hulk Hogan, Christopher Lloyd, Shelley Duvall, Larry Miller, William Ball, Jo Ann Dearing, Jack Elam, Roy Dotrice.

Playing bounty hunter 'Hutch' was Mark Calaway, better known as WWF's "Undertaker".
