Sometimes another extinct Baltic people of Yotvingians might be referred as Sudovians too. Large parts of the Prussian Sudovian territory was conquered under the Polish - Lithuanian Jagiellonians. Sudovians are also known as Suvalkians because the region once was in Suvalkai gubernya, but Sudovians is the preferred name.
