T. Alexander Aleinikoff

T. Alexander Aleinikoff was named the Dean of the Georgetown University Law Center in 2004. Aleinikoff was educated at Swarthmore College as an undergraduate, and later attended Yale Law School, where he received his J.D. in 1977.

He's a specialist in immigration policy, and has written a number of books on that topic. He has been a Senior Associate at the Migration Policy Institute, Executive Associate Commissioner of Programs, Immigration, and Naturalization Service for the Department of Justice, and General Counsel at the Immigration and Naturalization Service.
