"Too Much Information" is a humorous expression, sometimes known as Internet slang, used in North America and the United Kingdom to inform a speaker that he/she is telling or revealing too much about himself/herself or a given topic, to the level that the topic is disgusting to the listener. The author of this phrase is unknown, but it may have gained popularity through its use in the film Pulp Fiction.
TMI can also be an abbreviation for:
- Three Mile Island Nuclear Generating Station, a nuclear power station in Pennsylvania, USA
- Three Mile Island, a common term for a 1979 accident at the station
- T.M.I.: The Episcopal School of Texas, formerly Texas Military Institute, a preparatory school affiliated with the Episcopal Church
