The Big Bubble: Part Four of the Mole Trilogy

From Free net encyclopedia

The Big Bubble is an album by The Residents, released in 1985. It was what the band made after the fans waited 3 years for the next chapter of the Mole Trilogy: they got part 4 instead. This also ended up being the last, as parts three, five and six never materialized. As the tour was an unmitigated financial disaster that had also led to the virtual dissolution of the band at one point, it is no surprise that they were not too anxious to continue any further.

Part four is similar to The Tunes of Two Cities as it focuses on the music within the culture. In this case, it's a band called the Big Bubble, which is forefronting the Zenkinite movement (Zenkinites being a crossbreed of Moles and Chubs) and breaking the law by singing in the banned Mohelmot language.
