The Little Mermaid II: Return to the Sea is a 2000 animated feature film, a direct-to-video sequel to the 1989 animated film The Little Mermaid. In this movie, Jodi Benson reprised her role as Ariel, the "former" Little Mermaid.
It features Ariel and Eric's daughter, Melody (voiced by Tara Strong), as she wants to learn about her heritage. Unfortunately, her parents have to keep this a secret from her, so to protect her from Ursula's evil sister, Morgana (voiced by Pat Carroll).
