Template:Tone The Michael Coren Show (originally Michael Coren Live, but later taped so Coren could take on a weeknight airshift on CFRB radio, until his firing for mocking an overweight guest in November 2005) is an hour-long Ontario-based panel show hosted by Michael Coren which deals with current events. It airs weeknights on Crossroads Television, a Canadian broadcasting station, and is often replayed the following morning.

The show typically features Coren and up to four guests. Weekly regulars on the panel include outspoken freelance writer David Menzies, Toronto Star columnist Linwood Barclay, CUPE leader Sid Ryan, communications consultant Simon Kahn, lawyer Michelle Mann, and others. Topics of discussion regularly include provincial and federal politics, social issues, gay marriage, abortion, religion and healthcare. The show is known for invigorating debate on controversial issues (for example, Coren has hosted numerous shows on the Palestinian-Israeli conflict and radical versus moderate Islam, with guests who have strong stances on both sides of these issues).

Judging from his daily e-mails, The Michael Coren Show is popular among a segment of the population who feels that Coren offers a more balanced approach to issues than many high-profile news networks and talk shows. On the other hand, Coren claims that he also receives many negative e-mails. Criticism of Coren, who is a strong Christian, often focuses on his socially conservative views on issues such as abortion and same-sex marriage. Nevertheless, Coren's show attempts to promote balance by regularly including guests on both sides of the political spectrum.

Michael Coren brings his debating skills and customary wit to the program. Also an eloquent speaker, Michael Coren often speaks about his Christianity. He has a number of books to his credit but for the most part he is a columnist the Toronto Sun. His web site is www.michaelcoren.com.
