This Is Hardcore is a 1998 album by Pulp. It came three years after their breakthrough album, Different Class, and was eagerly anticipated. It was less Populist and did not live up to the commercial success of the previous album. Nevertheless, it was well received critically and earned a nomination for the 1998 Mercury Prize.
