Three kinds of objects

In Buddhist Yogācāra theory, objects of consciousness can be divided into three categories according to their properties. These are:
- things which are truly manifested from (ālaya) seeds;
- things provisionally manifested from a subjective view;
- things that exist in relation to the above two.
