Operated by the state railway administration, Ukrzaliznytsya (UZ).

  • 23,350 km broad gauge (1520 mm), 9,000 km electrified
  • 201 km standard gauge (1435 mm), electrified
  • Attention: In case of railroad travel to Ukraine best is to not buy return ticket because of for western europe non expected problems. Maybe in Kiev return tickect will be accepted but in other cities....
