Trotternish

Image:Scotland Skye Trotternish.jpg Image:Scotland Skye Trotternish 2.jpg Trotternish is the northernmost peninsula of the Isle of Skye, in Scotland. Its most famous feature is the Trotternish landslip, and massive landslide that runs almost the full length of the peninsula, some 30 km.

The most northerly point of Trotternish, Rubha Hunish, is also the most northerly point of Skye. The three major settlements on Trotternish are Portree (generally regarded as the capital of Skye), Uig and Staffin.

The highest point on Trotternish is The Storr, which lies right on the landslip feature.Template:Highland-geo-stub
