Chorley FM is best known as a fictional radio station in the British television hit comedy Peter Kay's Phoenix Nights. Hosted by Paul LeRoy, catchphrases include 'coming in your ears' and 'where the listener comes first'.

The station also makes minor appearances in Kay's comedies That Peter Kay Thing and Max and Paddy's Road to Nowhere.

It soon became a real radio station based in Chorley, but only broadcasts for a few weeks each year. The number one station presenter was allegedly Richie Ceez, ('a legend in his own right'). He is allegedly fond of small and underpowered cars. Ceez's catchphrases include 'Come in my ears' and 'where Carl comes first'.

Comedians Dave Spikey and Patrick McGuinness campaigned for the station to get a full licence.

On September 9 2005, Chorley FM was awarded a five-year licence to broadcast round the clock to the local community.

The station's logo is very similar to that used by Century FM in the 1990s.
