Tully's Coffee

Tully's Coffee is a specialty coffee retailer and wholesaler based in Seattle, Washington. It was founded by Tom T. O'Keefe in 1992. It operates nearly 100 stores in the Greater Puget Sound area of Washington, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Portland, Oregon, and Sun Valley, Idaho, and licenses its brand for use in South Korea and Japan. In Seattle, Washington (the home town of Starbucks Coffee), Tully's Coffee was the most prominent competitor with Starbucks until the latter purchased Seattle's Best Coffee in 2003. Its stores serve specialty coffees and other treats such as baked goods, pastries, espresso, and coffee-related supplies.

Tully's sold the most profitable unit of the company--its Japan partnership--for $17.9 million in September 2005.

Tully's is currently in the process of rebranding and redesigning the company.
