Route description
US 195 begins in Spokane. Travelling south, US 195 quickly leaves the city and becomes a two-lane highway going through Eastern Washington farmland. It intersects with Washington State Route 23 at Steptoe, Washington. Further south, it is the main street of Colfax, Washington heading its way toward Pullman, Washington. Just outside Pullman, it intersects with Washington State Route 270, a road that directly serves the university towns of Moscow, Idaho and Pullman, Washington. US 195 skirts the western edges of Pullman, continuing south until it ends at U.S. Highway 95 north of Lewiston, Idaho at the top of the Lewiston Grade. The highway enters Idaho on the access ramps to US 95.
