Variable Tumble Control System

From Free net encyclopedia

Variable Tumble Control System (VTCS) is a Mazda automobile engine technology that optimizes the "tumble" of air entering a cylinder. This increases fuel atomization, improving emissions. A butterfly valve opens at low RPM to increase turbulence of the intake charge. This is also present on some Subaru models, commonly known as "TGVs".Template:Auto-part-stub
