Victor Li
From Free net encyclopedia
Victor Li Tzar-kuoi (Chinese: 李澤鉅; pinyin: Lǐ Zéjù), Hong Kong-based businessman with Canadian citizenship, is son of tycoon and billionaire Li Ka-shing.
In late 2003, he became the largest stock holder of Air Canada. However, due to inability to come up with an agreement over the pension agreement with Air Canada's unions, Li cancelled the deal.
It was rumoured that he was once kidnapped by well known Hong Kong criminal Cheung Chi Keung, aka "Big Spender". He was released after the world record payment of a US$134 million ransom in cash. However, this kidnap has been repeatedly denied by Victor Li himself and his father.
