It can also mean:

  • The novel Victory (1912) by Joseph Conrad, or one of the motion pictures based on that book, (most recently in 1995).
  • Victory (film), the 1981 film starring Sylvester Stallone, Michael Caine, and Pelé. It is also known as Escape to Victory.
    • Several unrelated movies by the same title.
  • Metaphorally
    • Pyrrhic victory, a victory weakening the winner fundamentally
    • Aerial Victory, putting any enemy aircraft out of action. This term was first coined in WWI, and predates the term "kill." Example of usage, "The Red Baron had 80 victories."
    • Tactical Victory, Succeeding in a battle or part of a battle, often by driving the enemy back or holding a position, but not gaining any lasting result from the victory.
    • Strategic Victory, fulfilling a set goal, or criteria for success, leading to a next step in a plan for total victory.
