"Wanksta" is the second single from the soundtrack for 8 Mile. Released in 2002, the single, which is performed by 50 Cent, reached #13, becoming 50 Cent's first Top 20 single. The song was his first single to chart after signing up with Eminem's label Shady Aftermath. It was a bonus track (track 17) on his 2003 commercial debut album Get Rich or Die Tryin'. The song was a diss towards long time nemesis Ja Rule.
