With Teeth (also known as Halo 19) is an album by Nine Inch Nails released on May 3 2005. With Teeth is the nineteenth official Nine Inch Nails release and the band's fifth major release. It is preceded by The Fragile.

With Teeth was released as a standard CD, double vinyl, and as a DualDisc. In addition to 5.1 surround and stereo mixes of the songs, the DualDisc contains the video for "The Hand that Feeds", an interactive discography and a slideshow.

Unlike The Fragile, Nine Inch Nails frontman Trent Reznor produced this album. Once again, Alan Moulder has been in charge of the mixing. According to a statement on the official NIN website, Reznor stated that world-famous producer Rick Rubin was Reznor's "mentor" and "source of inspiration" throughout the planning and writing process of this album. Making a guest appearance on drums is former Nirvana drummer and current Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl.

In a statement to his fans on the official website, Reznor explained that due to his dislike for the CD artwork constraints, the artwork, credits, and lyrics have been incorporated into a 20 megabyte 3'×4' poster (released as a free PDF file to those who register with the NIN website).

The tour for the album began in Fresno, CA on March 23, 2005 and features former A Perfect Circle and Marilyn Manson bassist Jeordie White (formerly known as Twiggy Ramirez), former Icarus Line guitarist Aaron North, keyboardist Alessandro Cortini, and returning drummer Jerome Dillon.

The album's first single, "The Hand that Feeds," began radio play on March 14. A leaked copy of the song was broadcast on radio in February, and a leaked copy of "The Line Begins to Blur" appeared on the Internet soon afterward. On February 27, 2005, "Getting Smaller" was also leaked onto the Internet. "Right Where It Belongs" was also later leaked onto the Internet, and mere days afterwards, the entire album was leaked on filesharing networks 18 days before its official release.

The album's second single "Only," was released on July 25. A video, directed by David Fincher, was shot for it on April 19, 2005 and released on July 12 on the official NIN website.

In a Rolling Stone article, Reznor said about the album: "It's more song-oriented [than 1999's The Fragile.] It's much more lean. It's going to be twelve good punches in the face — no fillers, no instrumentals, just straight to the point." source With Teeth, unlike previous NIN albums, is not a concept album. Instead, Reznor says it is just "13 songs that are friends with each other". (source)

The working title for this album was Bleedthrough, referencing the phenomenon of audio bleed-through. Reznor stated that the name was changed because "it was supposed to be about different layers of reality seeping into the next, but I think some people were thinking about blood or a tampon commercial." This album was also named one of the top 40 albums of 2005 by Spin magazine.

The third single is the track "Every Day Is Exactly the Same," with a video shot by director Francis Lawrence.

The first three singles from With Teeth have gone to #1 on the Modern Rock charts, a first for Nine Inch Nails
