Wyong Shire Council

Wyong Shire Council is a Local Government Area located around the coastal lake system of Tuggerah Lake, Budgewoi Lake and Lake Munmorah. Its administrative centre is located in the town of Wyong. Wyong Shire Council includes several townships and suburban areas, including a coastal strip from the Bateau Bay up to Budgewoi (incorporating the towns of The Entrance, Norah Head, Toukley) some lakeside towns and residential areas (Berkeley Vale, Tuggerah, Gorokan, Kanwal, Charmhaven) some inland towns on the coastal flat (Ourimbah, Wyong, Kangy Angy, Warnervale) and a sparsely populated region to the west with some rural townships (Yarramalong, Dooralong, Jilliby) and regions of native bush (Kulnura). Together with Gosford City Council, it forms a region known as the Central Coast of New South Wales.
