Zeroption

Zeroption were an early 1980s Hardcore punk band, who have been cited as influences by many bands including Metallica, The White Stripes and Killdozer.

Zeroption were formed in 1981 in Oakville, a suburb of the Canadian city of Toronto, Ontario. The original lineup was Gord (bass), Kealan (drums) and Stuart (guitar).

The band played numerous live performances with many punk acts of the day, including Bad Brains, F.U.'s, D.O.A., Dead Kennedys, Social Distortion and The Circle Jerks. Influences heard in their music include Captain Beefheart, Pere Ubu, UK Subs and Devo.

Zeroption stopped playing live shows in 1983, but continued writing and recording.
