- Robo was a design study undertaken in the late 1950s for a Rocket Bomber for the USAF. The project was eventually absorbed into the abortive X-20 Dyna-Soar.

- Robo is also a slang term for the drug DXM, when used recreationally. Robo is short for the cough syrup Robitussin, which contains DXM. see Robotrippin
- Robo is short for Robopound, a fast-paced drinking game popular at Princeton University, among other places.
- Robo is an abbreviation of robot, often used as a prefix, as in Robocop or robomower. In this sense, it is the opposite of the word bot, which functions as a suffix.
