Image:St Michael's Isle, Isle of Man.jpg St. Michael's Isle, popularly referred to as Fort Island, is an island of the Isle of Man, noted for its attractive ruins. It is connected to the Langness Peninsula, Derbyhaven in the Isle of Man by a narrow causeway and is but a short walk from the Castletown Golf & Country Club hotel – a championship golf course which annually hosts the Duke of York Young Champions Trophy golf championships.
In addition to the ruins, the island serves as a bird sanctuary.
It is known as Ynnys Vaayl in Manx.
