The Honourable Charles Hazlitt Cahan, PC (October 31, 1861–August 15, 1944) was a Canadian Lawyer, Editor and Politician.
Born in Hebron, Nova Scotia, he was first elected to the Canadian House of Commons in the 1925 election as a Conservative Party Member of Parliament in the riding of St. Lawrence—St. George.
He was a candidate for the Conservative Party leadership at the 1927 Conservative leadership convention, finishing in third place. He served as Secretary of State of Canada in the 1930-1935 cabinet of Prime Minister R.B. Bennett.
He lost his seat in the 1940 general election and died four years later.
