Gerry Byrne, PC, MP, BSc (born September 27, 1966 in Corner Brook, Newfoundland and Labrador) is a Canadian politician.
Byrne is a current member of the Liberal Party of Canada in the Canadian House of Commons, representing the riding of Humber—St. Barbe—Baie Verte since 1996. Byrne is a former political assistant to Brian Tobin. He is currently the Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Intergovernmental Affairs. He was formerly Secretary of State for the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency, but was dropped from cabinet by Paul Martin in 2003. Gerry Byrne retained his seat for another mandate on January 23rd, 2006.
