Terry Patchett (July 11, 1940-October 11, 1996) was a politician in the United Kingdom. He served as Member of Parliament for Barnsley East until his death, and was a member of the Labour Party. In Parliament he worked tirelessly for the mining communities of Yorkshire. The by-election was won by Jeff Ennis.

Terry Patchett should not be confused with Terry Pratchett.
