Image:TV-Osaka.jpg Television Osaka, Inc. (テレビ大阪株式会社, Terebi Ōsaka Kabushiki Gaisha, also referred to as TVO) is a network TV station of TXN in Osaka, Japan. The mascot character is "Takoru-kun" (たこるくん).

History of TV Osaka

In 1981, Television Osaka, Inc. was founded to reorganize Tokyo Channel 12 Ltd. (Present: TV Tokyo). On March 1, 1982, TV Osaka started a TV broadcasting as a network TV station of "Mega TON Network" (メガTONネットワーク). On December 1, 2003, the logo mark of the TV station was renewed (Channel 19 → O + Remote Controller ID 7) and TV Osaka started digital TV broadcasting.
