Genevieve Gorder (born July 26, 1974 in Minneapolis, Minnesota) is one of the designers who takes part in the TLC series Trading Spaces.
She has become famous on the series for her quirk for working barefoot, meaning that she cannot start remodeling a room unless she is barefoot. She parodies this quirk in a series of Swiffer sweeper ads, which first started running on television and in periodicals in 2003. Because of that quirk, most fans call her "Barefoot Gen".
In addition to her role on Trading Spaces, she was also a designer for a spinoff show, Trading Spaces: Family. In 2005, she undertook the makeover of several buildings in the town of Jeffersonville, New York in her current hit series Town Haul.
