Image:TrAA.gif Tracey Ellery, Australian former executive and co-founder of Looksmart, was prominent in the student movement through the 1980s, and was President of the Australian National Union of Students. She is the mother of three children.

She was briefly the General Manager of Student Services Australia, a company wholly owned by the Australian National Union of Students. Her husband Evan Thornley had been the Chief Executive of the company previously.

The Smart Shop leased space at the Melbourne University Student Union.

Tracey Ellery was President of Looksmart and resigned from executive duties at Looksmart in 2001 but continued as a director in Looksmart until 2005.

Tracey Ellery now jointly owns Pluto Press Australia with her husband Evan Thornley. Ellery is a member of the Australian Labor Party.
