Beach buggy

After World War 2, beach buggy was a colloquial name for vehicles used on ocean surf fishing expeditions on the East Coast of America.
More commonly beach buggy is used in reference to an automobile that uses a cut-down Volkswagen Beetle chassis and is rebodied with an open fibreglass shell.
