A Techno cluster referes to a science and high tech oriented Porter's cluster like the Silicon Valley or AMD´s chip-plants, FAB´s, in Dresden, F.R. Germany, Silicon Saxony.

IT Cluster in Bangalore, India (now converting into a knowledge corridor).
