Burnt sienna

Template:Infobox color Burnt sienna is an iron oxide pigment: a warm mid brown color. It is also a Crayola color. It is often used as a joke when dicussing things of color. For example, in a discussion of favorite Power Rangers, when people are saying colors like red or pink, one might say his or her favorite power ranger was the 'burnt sienna' one.

Chemically, burnt sienna is formed by burning raw sienna (Terra di Sienna).
