An Unmarried Woman is a 1978 film which tells the story of a woman whose “perfect” life is shattered when her husband leaves her for another woman. It stars Jill Clayburgh, Jill Eikenberry, Michael Tucker, Alan Bates, Michael Murphy and Cliff Gorman.
The movie was written and directed by Paul Mazursky.
It was nominated for Academy Awards for Best Actress (Jill Clayburgh), Best Picture and Best Writing, Screenplay Written Directly for the Screen.
