Events
- The Lollards, a religious sect taught by John Wycliffe, were persecuted for their beliefs. The Archbishop of Canterbury pressured King Henry IV of England to outlaw them as heretics, under the Act De Heretico Comburendo. After travelling to London, William Sawtrey was executed by burning for preaching his beliefs.
