Amanda
From Free net encyclopedia
Template:Wiktionarypar Template:TOCright Amanda is a name derived from Latin, meaning "worthy of love." In the latter part of the seventeenth century, the freshness of Restoration drama in England included the creation of bright new character names, especially for women. Most of them had a Latin root. Amanda made her first appearance in mid seventeenth century in The Netherlands, later turning up in romantic poetry and novels.
Amanda (or AMANDA) may refer to one of several things.
