August and Everything After
From Free net encyclopedia
August and Everything After is the debut album of Counting Crows, released in 1993 (see 1993 in music). The lead singer Adam Duritz was born in August so the title may be a reference to the fact that the inspiration for the songs is very much drawn from his life experiences.
The album cover features lyrics to a song called August And Everything After, but the band decided against featuring the song on the album of the same name, and it wasn't until over a decade later that it was played as part of one of their live concerts.
