Baron Poltimore

Baron Poltimore, of Poltimore in the County of Devon, is a title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom. It was created in 1831 for Sir George Warwick Bampfylde, 6th Baronet, of Poltimore. The Baronetcy, of Poltimore in the County of Devon, had been created in the Baronetage of England in 1641 for his great-great-great-great-grandfather John Bampfylde, who represented Penryn in the House of Commons. Sir John's brother Thomas Bampfylde briefly served as Speaker of the House of Commons in 1659
