CITS-TV

Image:CTS.jpgCITS is an Ontario-based Christian television station. It uses the on-air brand Crossroads Television System (CTS) and transmits on Channel 36 from the Global tower at 481 First Road West in Stoney Creek. The studios are located in nearby Burlington, at 1295 North Service Road, near the "cross roads" junction of Queen Elizabeth Way (exit 100), with Highways 403 and 407.
Its slogan is "Television you can believe in" (formerly "We Care Who's Watching!"). The station was founded by evangelist David Mainse and is now run by his son, Ron Mainse who is also host of the station's flagship show, 100 Huntley Street.
Image:Crossroadscentre.JPGThe station airs programming for family viewing, mostly based on Christian values, but also features shows on political commentary and other religions, including Judaism, Islam, and Sikhism. It is administered by the CRTC Religious Broadcast Regulations and follows a policy of not airing shows containing "coarse language, gratuitous violence or explicit sexual scenes."
