Cippenham

Template:Infobox England place UA Cippenham is a suburb of the unitary authority of Slough in the county of Berkshire, England. Before the 1974 boundary changes, Cippenham was originally in Buckinghamshire.

The name, Cippenham derives from the old english Cippan-ham, meaning Cippa's homestead.

King Henry III of England|Henry III had a palace here. The spot is still marked on modern maps as "Cippenham Moat" and is very close to the M4 motorway.

Cippenham Green was where villagers grazed their cows, until the end of the 19th century, and is the only ancient village green left within Slough's boundaries.
