Dhani Harrison (born August 1, 1978) is the son of Beatle George Harrison and his second wife Olivia Trinidad Arias. They married a month after his birth, making Dhani the only child of a Beatle to be born out of wedlock. He looks remarkably like his father. Image:DhaniHarrison.jpg Dhani, like his father, is a guitarist. After George's death to cancer in 2001, Dhani participated a concert in his memory organized by Eric Clapton, called Concert For George. The musicians included some of George's best friends, Billy Preston, Ravi Shankar, Tom Petty, Jeff Lynne, Ringo Starr, Jim Keltner, Paul McCartney, Joe Brown, and the members of Monty Python. Dhani played rhythm guitar for most of the concert. Commenting on his uncanny likeness to his father, Paul McCartney quoted Olivia on stage as saying, "It looks like George stayed young and we all got old".

A Sun report linked Dhani with former Stone Roses member John Squire and Oasis vocalist Liam Gallagher. Purportedly, they were starting a band with Dhani as the guitarist, Squire as the songwriter, and Gallagher as the vocalist, however, a spokesperson for Gallagher denied these rumours: "The welcome heat of Sunday's weather in London must have got to the editorial staff at The Sun newspaper, so much so that they dreamed up a bizarre story about Liam Gallagher forming a supergroup with John Squire." Dhani, unlike many of the other children of the Beatles, has kept himself relatively out of the public eyes.

Following the death of his father in November 2001, Dhani, in collaboration with Jeff Lynne completed George's final album, Brainwashed, which was released in 2002. [1]

In March, 2006 Dhani Harrison made a guest appearance on Liam Lynch's Podcast Video Variety Show Lynchland [2]They performed a duet that will appear off of an upcoming Lynch Album.

In April, 2006, it was announced that Dhani Harrison had formed a band called "TheNewNo2". Band members are Dhani Harrison on lead, synths and vocals; Oli Hecks on drums and synths; Holland Greco on vocals; Steve on Guitar; and Jawnee Burkes on Bass. The band's website [[3]] features several songs and a video entitled "Choose What You Are Watching". The website says the band is "currently rehearsing" and there's "more to come".
