Hentiy aymag (Хэнтий аймаг) is one of the 21 provinces of Mongolia. It is located in eastern Mongolia. Its capital is Öndörhaan. Mongol Great Khan Genghis Khan, creater and leader of Mongol Empire is claimed to have been born and grown up in Hentiy aymag.
