Michal Viewegh
From Free net encyclopedia
Michal Viewegh (born March 31, 1962, in Prague) is one of the most popular contemporary Czech writers and certainly the bestselling one. His books, which he has been publishing regularly every spring for several years now, sell over 50 000 copies, bringing him an upper-high-class income uparallelled among Czech writers. He likes to point out this success with readers, as well as the fact that his books have been translated to several languages, since he fell out of favour with critics in mid-1990es, which sentiment he heartily reciprocated in his following books.
