Octavia

Octavia was the name of three women, two of the Julio-Claudian dynasty of ancient Rome:

• Octavia Major, or Octavia Thurina Major, elder half sister of Octavia Minor
• Octavia Minor, or Octavia Thurina Minor, the full sister of Caesar Augustus, younger half sister of Octavia Major
• Claudia Octavia, the daughter of Claudius and first wife of Nero

Also the title of

• Octavia (play, by Seneca), dramatising Claudia Octavia's messy divorce
• Octavia by Reinhard Keiser
