Prairie View is a city located in Phillips County, Kansas. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 141.

Demographics
As of the censusTemplate:GR of 2000, there were 141 people, 63 households, and 43 families residing in the city. The population density was 362.9/km² (926.2/mi²). There were 77 housing units at an average density of 198.2/km² (505.8/mi²). The racial makeup of the city was 97.87% White, 0.00% African American, 2.13% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 0.00% from two or more races. 2.13% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race.
There were 63 households out of which 27.0% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 66.7% were married couples living together, 0.0% had a female householder with no husband present, and 31.7% were non-families. 31.7% of all households were made up of individuals and 27.0% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.24 and the average family size was 2.81.
In the city the population was spread out with 24.1% under the age of 18, 5.0% from 18 to 24, 17.7% from 25 to 44, 19.1% from 45 to 64, and 34.0% who were 65 years of age or older.
