Template:Infobox North Korean city Rasŏn (formerly Rajin-Sŏnbong) is a Directly Governed City in North Korea, which borders with Jilin province of China and Primorsky Krai of Russia. The region was split from North Hamgyŏng Province in 1993 under the name "Rajin-Sŏnbong;" the name was shortened to "Rasŏn" in 2000. In South Korean pronunciation, the initial "R" of the name is pronounced as "N." Indeed some sources translate the name of the city as Najin.

Rasŏn is divided into 1 ward ("Kuyŏk") and 1 county ("Kun").

  • Rajin-guyŏk (라진구역; 羅津區域)
