Springdale is a city located in Washington and Benton counties in Arkansas. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 45,798, making it the seventh most populous city in the state. However, a special census completed in late 2005 showed the population had increased to 62,050.

The special census' results mean that Springdale is now Arkansas' third-largest city, behind only Little Rock and Fort Smith. This is likely temporary, as neighboring Fayetteville is conducting a special census of its own, which is expected to place that city ahead of Springdale.

Springdale is the location of the headquarters of Tyson Foods Inc., the largest meat producing company in the world.
