String Quartet No. 5 (Beethoven)

Ludwig van Beethoven's String Quartet No. 5 in A Major was published in 1801 as Opus 18, No. 5, and was written between 1798 and 1800. It consists of four movements:

1. Allegro
2. Menuetto
3. Andante cantabile
4. Allegro

There is a strong relationship between this quartet and Mozart's quartet in the same key (K464).
