Tejas

Tejas has several meanings:
- Tejas was the name given by Spanish explorers to the Hasinai group of Caddo-speaking Native Americans.
- The name Tejas was also given to the region of New Spain and/or Mexico where the Hasinai lived; see Coahuila y Tejas and/or Republic of Texas. Tejas remains the Spanish name of Texas.
- Tejas was also the code name of a microprocessor developed by Intel (see Tejas and Jayhawk).
- Tejas (meaning radiance or fire in Sanskrit) is the synonym for agni in the Panchamahabhuta, the five Hindu elements, and the official name of India's indigenously developed Light Combat Aircraft (LCA).
- Tejas is the fifth album by American blues-rock band ZZ Top, released in 1976.
- A traditional candy from Peru and Spain.
- Plural for teja, meaning roof tile.
