Friend William Richardson (December 1, 1865 – September 6, 1943) was Governor of California from January 9, 1923 until January 4, 1927. He was born in 1865 in Michigan and died in 1943 in Berkeley, California. Richardson also served as California State Treasurer, 1915-1923.
